A Relaxing Family Friendly Event

Take as long or as little time as you like to Create your own

3D  Hypsilophodon, Brachiosaurus, Neovenator Dinosaur or

Palaeo Sea Turtles, Sharks or Ammonites Models out of Colourful Card.  

 

Chat about all things 'dinosaur' and discover interesting facts and snip bits along the way.

​

All guardians must be accompanied and supervised by their children and vice versa!

​​

Ideally allow 1 hour to complete your

3D Dinosaur model or ½ hour for each

Palaeo Sea Creature models...but feel free to take as much time as you need! 

Please bring refreshments.

2-102 years!

Spend the day at the museum creating your very own  

Dinosaur Animation using free animation software and your imagination.  Suitable for 5+ years but we're age flexible!

Directors, Camera Crew, Story Boarders and Continuity are needed so bring along family members to join in with the Dinosaur Animation workshop where you'll discover:

• If Dinosaur Science influences Dinosaur Movie Makers

• Stop Start Animation techniques

• How to Recreate Dinosaur  sounds for your animation using just your mobile phone or camera and Audacity

• Use 3D Dinosaur Model Characters 

• Story Board Brainstorming tips

• Green Screen + Set Design for your Dinosaur's habitat 

• Film your Animation using your mobile phone or camera

• Guidance and Demos on free Animation software to convert your captured Stop Start images into your own family Animated Dinosaur Movie!

• If you'd like to: Add your animation to the Dinosaur Explorers website or share on YouTube for all to see

• What to Bring with You:            Packed lunch and drinks  if you plan to stay all day, a mobile phone or camera with image + sound recording capture abilities (essential), OPTIONAL: Laptop/tablet with mic & camera inbuilt or external and memory stick. Remember your power cables and bags of imagination (essential).
