Palaeo Sea Scene Workshops
Dive into the past with your very own Scuba Diver and recreate a 200 million year old Palaeo Sea Scene and swim with Belemnites, Ammonites, Ichthyosaurs, Hybodont Sharks, Sea Turtles and Sponge.
Using creative card techniques we'll show you how to create 3D models of the marine eco-system that thrived before the
Isle of Wight became an island.
Suitable for approx. 5 - 105 years old
All children must be supervised at all times - guardians welcome to stay and join in!

What did dinosaurs look and sound like?Hear about the latest scientific updates and capture dinosaur sounds ready for shooting your movie in October 2018. Using just your mobile phone and free online 'sound capture' software, we'll stretch and distort chicken, duck and geese sounds to see if we can recreate what dinosaurs could have sounded like. Your captured sounds can be added to your Dino Movie in October!
At the end of the session join us for the Dinosaur Expedition Centre's Summer BBQ!

'Lights, Camera, Action!'
Finally pull everything together to make your own short Dinosaur Movie using free online animation software, which includes Blue/Green Screen Capture.
Two desktop Animation Studios with Blue Screen provide the backdrop for your 3D Character Models, along with demos on how to convert your Stop Start images into an animation using free online software.
Share your animations with family/friends or on the Dinosaur Explorers Club website.

STORY BOARD AND SET DESIGN
Design your own Story Board and Mini-Movie Set ready for shooting your Dinosaur Movie in October 2018!
Using Creative Card or Clay 2D + 3D modelling, natural materials and a drop of imagination create a table-top set for your characters to run riot.
With simple techniques and gadgets, making movies will bring out the Director in you!
