The Dinosaur Explorers Events are held at the Dinosaur Expedition Centre, with Member-only Fossil Hunts held around the beautiful shores of the Isle of Wight in the UK.

Dinosaur Explorers is suitable for children aged 5 - 15 years, however all children must be supervised by a guardian at all times. Guardians are actively encouraged to stay and join in! Free parking and toilets are available at the Dinosaur Expeditions Centre, and the centre is wheelchair and pushchair friendly,  however, unfortunately there are no refreshment facilities available so please bring along drinks and snacks.

 

Come along to Dinosaur Explorers events, whether you live on the Island, just visiting for a couple of hours or on a family holiday.

 

2 hours is all you need to

start your exploration into the world of

dinosaurs and fossil hunting!

Non-Members are very welcome whether you're on holiday

or would just like to pop-in occasionally:

£3.50per child per 2 hour, monthly event session 

All children must be accompanied by a guardian at all times

(free entry for guardians)

£20.00 (1x Adult + 1x child)

£24.00 (2x Adults up to 3 children)

Any additional children under and/or over the ages of 5 - 15

are welcome to join in and enter the museum for free

• 6x Monthly Dino Science Inspired Club Workshops (held between April to October)

• 2 hour fun filled workshops packed with scientific discovery along the way.

• Resident Palaeontologist to answer all your dinosaur questions!

• 'Get your eye in' learn how to hunt for fossils like a professional 

• Explore, Hunt and Discover your own fossils during our Club Members-only Fossil Hunting Trips led by resident Palaeontologist

• Invites to Family  Members-only events

Would you like to become a Young Dinosaur Expeditions Centre Volunteer?

​

Young Volunteers aged 16 - 18 years are actively welcome to help organise the Dinosaur Explorer sessions or to Volunteer at the Dinosaur Expedition Centre.  Volunteers are actively sought to help with museum based events, curation and conservation +  museum maintenance.

​

To become a Volunteer, just pop-in to the Dinosaur Expedition Centre, call or email us to start your Dinosaur Adventure with us!  Volunteering can be as long or as short as you can manage, your time will be greatly appreciated.
